 SELECTED RECENT PERFORMANCES:




Johan Thom’s aesthetic interests with regards to his performance practice extend to the study of African ceremonies and rituals that shape contemporary South African culture. He has presented performance workshops and participated in exhibitions (see shortened CV here) at numerous biennials and group exhibitions in South Africa, Germany, Italy, Spain, Bangladesh, Slovenia and Belgrade, amongst others.
